Whitefoord Elementary School, 35 Whitefoord Avenue, Atlanta 30317
Opened in 1927, Whitefoord is located in the Edgewood community and serves 480 students from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. In addition to a broad based quality instructional program, Whitefoord has a comprehensive clinic and offers a variety of extra curricula activities.

Sammye E. Coan Middle School, 1550 Hosea L. Williams Drive, Atlanta 30317
Located in the revitalized Kirkwood community, Coan is the oldest middle school in Atlanta Public Schools and the first built in Georgia. Coan Middle School is comprised of approximately 600 Sixth, Seventh, and Eighth Graders who come from the Edgewood and Kirkwood communities.

Recently reclassified as an "Open Campus", this high school is located in the redeveloping Reynoldstown community. Crim's current enrollment is 516 students from grades 9 through 12.

Charles R. Drew Charter School, 187 Wesley Avenue, Atlanta 30307
Opened in August 2000 with 240 children in grades K-5, Drew presently serves approximately 747 children in grades K-8. The first charter school in the City of Atlanta, Drew is located in the East Lake community and operates according to an extended day and extended year calendar.

In it's fourth year of operation, Neighborhood Charter School is one of Atlanta’s most racially and economically diverse schools, with one of the highest academic performances in Georgia. The school presently serves 278 children from Grant Park, Ormewood Park, East Atlanta, Summerhill, and other nearby in-town Atlanta neighborhoods.
